CHP Gets Suspected DUI Driver's Goat In Temecula Arrest
Temecula's California Highway Patrol officers recently pulled over a driver on suspicion of DUI. Then, they got his goat.

TEMECULA, CA — California Highway Patrol Officers in Temecula made a recent arrest and animal recovery this week when they pulled over a suspected DUI driver, and his goat.
"This was a great catch by CHP Temecula's Officers Soltero and Garrison," Officer Brian Seel said in his social media post. The little guy was sitting in a full front seat, along with what appeared to be a bottle of milk.

"The dedicated officers made a DUI arrest after spotting an impaired driver on our local roads," Seel wrote. "When they approached the vehicle, they found an unexpected front-seat passenger... a GOAT!"

No, not the greatest of all time passenger, but a real, bona fide goat.
"The driver was taken into custody, and thankfully, no one (including the goat) was hurt," Seel said. Animal Control officers arrived to take custody of the little cutie.

The goat was unharmed, and its future remains unclear as of this report.
"Drinking and driving is dangerous— it puts everyone on the road at risk, including innocent passengers of the four-legged variety," Officer Brian Seel said. Be sure and follow CHP Temecula on Facebook for the latest on the agency.
