Construction Begins On 14.2-Acre French Valley Commons

Three of the planned retail buildings are pre-leased to tenants: O'Reilly Auto Parts, Dollar Tree and Jiffy Lube.

TEMECULA, CA — A 14.2-acre development project called French Valley Commons in Winchester is a step closer to being built.

W Development Partners recently broke ground on the project at Leon and Benton roads, off of Winchester Road, after it received $19.8 million in financing, according to Commercial Property Executive.

The first phase of French Valley Commons will encompass nine buildings totaling 87,231 square feet. Six of the buildings, a total of 36,524 square feet, will be dedicated to retail and the remaining three (totaling approximately 50,532 square feet ) will serve as light industrial warehouses, according to Commercial Property Executive.

The second phase of the mixed-use project will feature an additional 52,000 square feet of retail and industrial space, according to Commercial Property Executive.

The project is slated for completion by the middle of 2021.
