Cooler Temperatures Expected in Riverside County

Forecasters say a chance of rain is on the horizon later this week.

Somewhat cooler temperatures are expected across Riverside County today ahead of a low-pressure system that will bring a chance of rain later this week.

On Monday, the mercury rose well into the 90s in Riverside County, but the unseasonably high temperatures weren’t enough to set any records.

Isolated rain showers also developed over southwestern portions of Riverside County, but chances for heavier precipitation in the form of thunderstorms will increase over the next few days, according to the National Weather Service.
