Coronavirus Doesn't Care that Your Cause Matters

COVID-19 cases have surged across the globe. Opening too early, protests, testing and lack of an efficient amount of contact tracers are to blame -- and much more we aren't privy to.

Just like the protesters who wanted to be "liberated," (which I disavowed 100%), the ones fighting for a cause that actually matters, still run the same risks of transferring the disease more rapidly.

Until this virus is dealt with in a way that epidemiologist can confidently say they "can now handle" or simply that they "Understand" more of it, people need to stop from forming big group gatherings. Plain and Simple. Anthony Fauci said "These next weeks are critical."

Write letters to your legislators. The information is public knowledge and they are servers of the public, give them an opportunity to do so. Have a conversation with them; keep posting online and signing petitions; keep spreading the word; go to city hall meetings, but stop gathering in large groups.

I reported daily on the coronavirus from April 16 - May 31 and have continued to closely monitor it thereafter and we are no where near a comfort zone. The cause is important, but people of color are already at higher risk of infection, it is only being accentuated by continuing to gather in big groups. A whole picture is always being painted outside of the facebooks and instagrams of the world. #postsarenotpolicies. Things happen in your city that you can get involved in RIGHT NOW. Create a committee and gather all of your town's local leaders and demand change.

As far as I can see, the coronavirus doesn't care if your cause means more than the last one, it only wants to spread! Be safe every one.
