Coroner IDs Motorcyclist Killed In Off-road Crash: SW RivCo
John Anthony Jardin of Sun City, Ariz., was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
ANZA, CA — A man killed when he lost control of his motorcycle while riding off-road south of Anza near the Riverside-San Diego County border was identified Tuesday as a 63-year-old resident of Sun City, Arizona.
John Anthony Jardin was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which was reported about 1 p.m. Saturday on an unmaintained dirt trail west of the Cooper Cienega Truck Trail, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to CHP officer Matt Napier, Jardin was riding with a group of friends when he was thrown from his dirt bike as it overturned.

Due to the ruggedness of the terrain, a CHP helicopter was summoned to transport Jardin's body to French Valley Airport in Murrieta, where the crew was met by Riverside County coroner officials.
