Deadly Motorcycle Crash In Temecula, 'Rainbow Canyon Closed For Hours'
Rainbow Valley/ Rainbow Canyon Roads, which had been closed for hours from the county line to the Temecula Creek Inn, reopened to traffic.

TEMECULA, CA — A motorcyclist died after a collision with another vehicle Monday on Rainbow Canyon Road in Temecula, leading to a several hours closure of that roadway, Riverside County Sheriff's Department confirmed. The alternate traffic route to the busy I-15 freeway reopened as of 4 p.m., according to Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez.
Shortly after 12 p.m., a motorcyclist and car collided in an incident that was investigated for several hours, Gonzalez told Patch. "The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene."
Investigators initiated a full closure of both Rainbow Valley Road and Rainbow Canyon Road between the Riverside County Line and the Temecula Creek Golf Course.
