Discovery Isle Child Development Center Donates Pajamas for Scholastic's Great Bedtime Story PJ Drive
Preschoolers wore pajamas to celebrate the culmination of their PJ drive
Temecula, Calif. (Dec. 16, 2014) – Preschoolers at Discovery Isle Child Development Center in Temecula wore pajamas to school on Dec. 11 to celebrate the culmination of their pajama drive for children living in foster care. This is the fifth year Discovery Isle participated in the national drive, which is sponsored by Scholastic Book Clubs and the Pajama Program. Each year, Scholastic Book Clubs matches a pair of new pajamas with a book donation to the Pajama Program. Pajamas and books are then distributed by the Pajama Program’s National Headquarters to children in need throughout the country. This year, Discovery Isle donated more than 65 sets of pajamas.
Pajama Program is a nonprofit organization that provides new books and new pajamas to children in need, many of whom are waiting and hoping to be adopted.
