Donation Will Help Support Arts, Science Classes in TVUSD

Three area nonprofits, including Temecula Valley Foundation for Excellence in Education, received donations from Go Green Realty.

The Temecula Valley Foundation for Excellence in Education (TVFEE) was one of three recipients to be recognized by Go Green Realty, Inc., at the company’s September 18 ribbon-cutting ceremony and inaugural check presentation. Go Green Realty owners Trish and John Meza presented TVFEE Vice President Mark Katan with a check for $1,565, which will be used to support arts and science instructional programs for Grades K-12 in the Temecula Valley Unified School District.

Go Green Realty’s unique business plan makes it “the for-profit for non-profits,” with a portion of proceeds from property sales going to support local organizations. The company was recognized for its support of nonprofit groups by Jeff Stone, 3rd District Supervisor and Chairman of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, who presented a certificate of appreciation. The event was held at the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Other local nonprofits receiving donations were Michelle’s Place (breast cancer resource center) and NAMIWalks (National Alliance for Mental Illness).
