Driver Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI After Truck Crashes Into Guardrail In Temecula

TEMECULA, CA — A driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a pick-up truck veered off the road and struck a guardrail in Temecula on Friday, the California Highway Patrol announced.

The crash, which involved a Toyota Tacoma, happened around 11:15 p.m. on Pala Road.

CHP officials said 38-year-old Claudia Decena of Menifee was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Decena was the only person in the vehicle and not injured.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

CHP officials said the crash "could have been much worse."
