Earthquake Rattles Southwest Riverside Awake: Did You Feel It?
The Tuesday morning quake was felt across Anza, Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore to Palm Desert.
ANZA, CA —A magnitude-3.3 earthquake struck in the Anza area early Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, but there were no reports of damage or injuries.
The earthquake was reported at 4:59 a.m. and was centered 9.9 miles south-southwest of Alpine Village, according to the USGS. It was 7.4 miles deep.
The earthquake was 18.4 miles southwest of La Quinta, 19.4 miles south-southwest of Palm Desert and 19.7 miles south-southwest of Rancho Mirage.
