Easter Church Services In Temecula, Riverside County: 2022

TEMECULA, CA — With Easter weekend here, families across Temecula and Southwest Riverside County can plan for church services and holy weekend activities close to home.

On Friday morning at 11. a.m. in Temecula hundreds will gather for the annual Cross Walk in the city of Temecula from Overland to Sam Hicks Park in Old Town, in honor of Good Friday. This is the first event to kick off Easter Weekend.

Over 35 years, Student Venture Ministries has organized their annual ‘Crosswalk’ in Temecula. Churches from Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Menifee and Wildomar join with Temecula in this inspirational annual occurrence. Cross-walkers park in the Temeku Hills Theater lot to begin their trek to Old Town, many bearing small to large crosses indicative of the historic event.

"Hundreds of people gather to walk two miles in unity and celebration of what Jesus did for us on the cross," a Student Venture Ministries spokesperson wrote. There will be praise and worship services after the walk at Sam Hicks Park.
