They will be performing at THE STAMPEDE on September 25th. Benji is the winner of the Fox Hit Show "So You Think You Can Dance" season 2. He and his partner, Torri Smith, are undefeated 2010 & 2011 US Open Swing Dance Showcase Champions. Mr. Buddy Schwimmer will also be part of the evening to include audience participation
with dance lessons. The Young Adult National Champions Christopher Dumond & Nicole Clonch and the award winning TDC Senior Company will also perform, Talia, New York City Contemporary Dance Champion, as
well as other performances to be announced.
Benji has worked with stars such as Leann Rimes,
Christina Aguilera and Paula Abdul as choreographer and lead dancer. He has choreographed and performed for “So
You Think You Can Dance (US & Canada), Dancing with the Stars, America’s Got Talent, Country Music Awards, and many others. He has starred on the big screen in Love
‘n Dancing, Leading Ladies, and just finished filming a Lifetime Movie to be released in December.
Torri Smith, has lived in Murrieta, Ca most of her life and
has been dancing just about as long. She concentrated on jazz, tap and ballet early on until she was introduced to West Coast Swing by Benji’s parents, Buddy & Laurie. Torri fell in love with swing dancing and is currently a ten time United States Swing Dance Champion. Torri has choreographed or performed on So You Think You Can Dance (US and Canada), America’s Got Talent and Dancing with the Stars, working with vocal talents such as Leann
Rimes and Demi Lovato. She has also danced on Disney shows such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

There will be raffles, food for sale and a live auction for 3-one hour dance lessons with Torri Smith. This performance is their gift as a fundraiser to the committee to elect Walter Wilson for Temecula City Council 2012.
