If you've been to the doctor lately, chances are he/she has suggested for you to start a strength training program.

Learn how to ward off and help prevent osteoporosis just by working out with a set of weights. During this 45-minute presentation, a Certified Strength Trainer will demonstrate 15 primary strength training exercises that are used in the Geri-Fit strength training exercise program for older adults.  These exercises will strengthen the spine, hips, wrists, and improve posture at the same time. Sit, watch and learn; no participation needed! You're welcome to take notes and handouts of the exercises will be given. All ages and fitness levels welcome.

Directions: The Francis Domenigoni Community Center is located at 32665 Haddock St. in Winchster, CA. This event will be held in the Meeting Room on the first floor.
