The Temecula Valley Rose society is offering their 'Kids in the Garden' program Saturday, November 19, 2011. It will focus on planting bulbs, exploring the garden, and making a take home project.
The free program, put on by the Youth Gardening Committee, is a hands-on learning experience for children 12 and younger, accompanied by an adult. Participants should wear close-toed shoes, sun hat and sun screen. Water and handouts will be provided.
The program will run from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Rose Haven Heritage Garden, 30592 Jedediah Smith Road, weather permitting.
