Called a "Must Hear" artist by the San Diego News, Canadian Singer Songwriter Michael LeClerc started the band, “Smooth Bill” in 2007, and was invited to open for the multiple Juno Award winning and Canadian Music Hall of Fame band, "The Tragically Hip" in the Cayman Islands, performing for 3,000 enthusiastic fans. "Smooth Bill" began circulating radio stations online and in the Cayman Islands.
Deciding to quit all other distractions and focus solely on his music career, Michael recorded his solo EP at 4th Street Recording Studio, Santa Monica, CA produced by Platinum Producer, Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple, Live, Hoobastank) and self released it in the Spring of 2011. It didn’t take long for the single "Radio" to get airplay on many stations throughout the US, Cayman Islands, and Canada. LeClerc's music has recently attracted attention from Virgin Produced, a Film and TV production company who are interested in his music for placement in TV, Film and Video Games!

Leclerc has opened up for the Tragically Hip, played for the famous WWF wrestler Rick Flair on his wedding day, traveled to Los Angeles to record demos, given his time to a numerous amount of charity events and arranged a small tour through the state of California. If you like laid back melodies for the easy days or a funk, folk up beat feel to keep you groovin' then Michael Leclerc is an artist you don't want to miss! He has a very eclectic sound that drives a soulful feeling!
