The 2011 Galway Downs CCI3 International Eventing competition will feature the Olympic Selection Trials for the U.S. and Canadian Teams for London 2012.  Additionally the riders will be testing themselves and their horses over the Western United States only CCI3 International Event.

In addition to the competition, Galway Downs will be featuring an off road test track for the Land Rover family of SUV's.  Test your skills over the off road course set up by Land Rovers experts to show off their vehicles and excite their drivers.
Their competition begins with dressage test on Friday in the main arena in front of a panel of three Internationally Qualified judges from US, Great Brittian, and Canada.  The main arena action all takes place in front of the trade fair and patrons tent.

Saturday will bring the ultimate test in equestrian sports as they’ll run across the 4 mile 40 jumping effort Ian Stark-designed cross-country course beginning at 11AM.

Sunday concludes the International Event with the all important final veterinary inspection at 8AM.  Following the inspection, the competitors will be placed in reverse order of standing and will Show Jump back in our main arena at 11AM.  In addition for vying for a chance to represent their country in the Olympic Games, they will also be chasing a purse of over $21,000 in prize money.

Gates open at 9 a.m. Galway Downs is providing free admission on any day of the event to those holding valid military identification cards, and the chapter will receive a portion of the revenue from ticket sales and proceeds from on-site activities such as an auction of the East vs. West Golf Cart Teams for the PRO Golf Cart Race on Sunday, November 6.
