This family event features a reading of the book Sweet Corn and Sushi followed by an origami workshop. The book is about the first sister-state bond between the people of Iowa and the people of Yaminashi, Japan, in the 1950s. After the reading, there will be an introduction to the two Temecula sister cities of Daisen-Nakayama, Japan, and Leidschendam-Voorburg, Netherlands. Participants also get a fun origami lesson. Please call ahead to reserve a spot and ask about pricing.
