The West Coast Country
Music Association (WCCMA) will present its 3rd
Annual “Hot August Country” vocalist competition on August 25, 2012, at Promenade Temecula from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Winners of the competition are
eligible to represent the WCCMA and the state of California in March 2013 at
the North American Country Music Association International competition in
Tennessee.
The WCCMA is seeking solo acts, duos and groups to compete in new and
traditional country, bluegrass and gospel music. Age categories are 7-12,
13-16, 17-20, and adult for male and female performers. Performers that place first and second in
their categories will be eligible for the trip to Tennessee. This competition
is open to the public and each person that enters will receive a “Performer”
membership in the WCCMA . Each entry into the competition will be put into a
raffle for tickets to the PBR Rodeo at Pala Casino (www.palacasino.com) . To sign up,
