Firefighter Injured Battling Blaze At Temecula Home

Firefighters tackled a blaze at a Temecula mobile home, but one crew member had to be hospitalized after suffering heat exhaustion.

TEMECULA, CA — A firefighter was injured Saturday while battling a fire at a double-wide mobile home in Temecula Saturday.

The fire was reported at 4:54 p.m. in the 39000 block of Pourroy Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. When firefighters arrived on the scene, the home was engulfed in flames, according to fire officials.

Crews had the blaze put out at 5:44 p.m., but one firefighters suffered heat exhaustion during the effort and was taken by ground ambulance to a hospital for evaluation, officials said.
