Firefighters Quickly Stop Spread of Temecula Fire
Firefighters from Cal Fire and the Murrieta Fire Department responded to the scene.
Firefighters made quick work of a blaze burning in Temecula on Thursday.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the fire was reported around 1:32 p.m. off of Adams Avenue and Cherry Street– just south of the Murrieta city line, in Temecula.
By 2 p.m., the forward spread of the vegetation fire had been stopped, according to fire officials. It was estimated to be about one acre in size.

Murrieta fire officials tell Patch they also responded to the scene to assist Cal Fire.
