Firefighters Mop Up Brush Fire In Rainbow
San Diego and North County fire crews were battling a brush fire on Rainbow Boulevard on Saturday morning.
RAINBOW, CA — Firefighters were mopping up a brush fire in Rainbow on Saturday morning, according to the North County Fire Protection District.
The fire broke out in the area of the 3000 block of Rainbow Valley Boulevard. Fire officials have dubbed the blaze the "Rainbow Fire."
"The forward rate of spread has been stopped. Crews will remain on scene to perform mop-up," officials tweeted.
