George Takei, and many others who were incarcerated, are featured in And Then They Came for Us, an award-winning documentary directed by the Peabody Award-winning team of Abby Ginzberg and Ken Schneider. And Then They Came for Us brings history into the present through the retelling of this difficult story, following Japanese American activists, and featuring newly rediscovered photographs by Dorothea Lange. And Then They Came for Us is a cautionary and inspiring tale for these dark times.
