Golden Grizzles Among the Sweet 16
Temecula, CA-November 16, 2013—On Saturday afternoon, Temecula Valley’s Pop Warner Jr. Midget Division I team, the Golden Grizzles, became one of the top 16 football teams in the nation at the Pop Warner Jr. Midget level with a 17-12 win against the San Bernardino Ravens.
The two-time repeat Palomar Conference Champions held off the undefeated San Bernardino Ravens with outstanding blocking coupled with skilled running and agile receptions, a 30 yard field goal, and game winning defense.
The Golden Grizzles are heading to Regional Finals against the Canyon Hills Falcons this Saturday as their final step towards the Pop Warner Super Bowl in December.
