Great Oak HS Falls In Final Day of Riverside County Mock Trial Competition
The school made it to the final four, but lost to Hemet High School-- who then went on to win the entire competition.

Hemet High School took home its first championship title in the 32nd annual Riverside County Mock Trial Competition this weekend, judges announced.
Teams from Great Oak High School in Temecula, Hemet High School, King High School in Riverside and Poly High School in Riverside comprised the final four teams, who competed Saturday, according to county Office of Education spokesman Craig Petinak.
Hemet High School will advance to the state competition, which takes place March 20 and 22 in Riverside.

The mock trials began Feb. 11 with more than 550 students from 27 schools taking part.
