HBO Releases Trailer for Film on Inland Empire Band & Terror Night at Paris' Bataclan Theater
The documentary "Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends)" is directed by Tom Hanks' son Colin.

PALM DESERT, CA – HBO released a new trailer today for "Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends)," a documentary based on Palm Desert-based Eagles of Death Metal's fateful 2015 gig at Paris' Bataclan Theater, where gunmen took the lives of 89 people.
The film follows the band both during the Nov. 13, 2015 attack, when they were forced to flee mid-song as gunshots rang out, and after the attack, when the band regrouped and returned to France in early 2016, at a show free of charge to hundreds of survivors of the attack.
Directed by Colin Hanks, son of Tom Hanks, the film features interviews from the band's founders Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme, Bono of U2, who shared a Paris stage with the band weeks following the attack, and numerous survivors who were at the Bataclan that night.
