Heritage Learning Center Hosts Grand Opening in Temecula

HLC It is a new preschool in Temecula for children ages 2.5 – 6 years of age.

Heritage Learning Center (HLC) celebrated its Grand Opening on January 10 with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Temecula Chamber of Commerce and HELM board president, Scott Phillips.

The grand opening event was a community event and free of charge to local families. Its theme was based on the movie by Disney called ‘Frozen.’ It was attended by approximately 242 local residents, and featured developmentally appropriate crafts and activities for children along with an appearance by the character ‘Elsa’ from the movie, ‘Frozen.’

HLC It is a new preschool in Temecula for children ages 2.5 – 6 years of age. It also offers a pre-kindergarten program for children ages 4 – 5 years, which helps to prepare students for when they enroll in a Kindergarten program.

Heritage Learning Center is a non-profit preschool and founded on the same four classical virtues as Temecula Preparatory School which are Justice, Prudence, Temperance, and Fortitude. HLC offers small class sizes of only 10 students per classroom, and a classical curriculum based on the model utilized at Temecula Preparatory School, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) programs, Perceptual Motor Lab, and World Language program beginning January 2015.

Temecula Preparatory School is an acclaimed charter school in Temecula whose students post high test scores on standardized testing and SAT’s.

Heritage also offers a daycare/babysitting program to parents who are not interested in a full-time program but who need hourly daycare support.

HLC plans to expand to offering a kindergarten program in Fall 2015!
