The 2013 event takes place again at Temecula Promenade, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nearly 170 colleges turned out in 2012. During Tuesday night’s Temecula City Council meeting, City Manager Aaron Adams said last year's one-day event was so well attended it pushed sales up at the mall, resulting in a 23 percent increase in sales tax revenue for the city.
