I-15 Traffic Incidents: Truck Aflame, Truck Bed In Lanes Near Temecula
Thursday afternoon, CHP asked drivers to be on the lookout for these dangerous incidents on the I-15 near Temecula.
TEMECULA, CA — A pickup truck headed northbound on I-15 just south of the State Route 79 South off-ramp was on fire, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. Thursday, CHP dispatch stated that a white pickup truck pulled over to the right-hand side of the roadway and that flames were showing beneath the vehicle.
It was not immediately known if the flames extended beyond the vehicle. No other information was immediately available about this incident.

In other traffic news, on the I-15 southbound just at the Border Patrol checkpoint, drivers were alerted that a truck bed had fallen into the #3 lane of traffic.
Drivers should be on the lookout and avoid the #3 lane when heading south of Temecula until at least 1 p.m.
