Presented by the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, the
up-close-and-personal Intimate Classics series offers locals the chance to
experience chamber music expertly performed in the intimate setting of the
Center Theater. Attendees have the option of completing their theater
experience with a pre-performance gourmet dinner.
A native of Mumbai, India, Priti Gandhi has been praised by the New York Times for her "creamy sound and agile coloratura" while Opera News described her voice as "...languid, sensuous...her voice never lost its velvety character." Gandhi's career includes performances with New York City Opera, the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera and Seattle Opera, among other prestigious institutions.
Tickets range from $20 to $40. Children 12 and under get in
