Lane Closure Planned For I-15 At Winchester: Temecula Traffic Alert

TEMECULA, CA — At least one northbound lane on the I-15 at Winchester Road will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, as Caltrans continues to make road improvements to the busy freeway, the city announced.

The lane closures will affect the following drives:

• 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.: Eastbound Winchester Road On-Ramp (loop) to NB I-15—note: this is a Full Closure.
• 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.: Outside lane closure on NB I-15 at Winchester Road.

Please follow detour routes and signs around the full and partial closures, and plan accordingly if you travel that roadway during the hours of the closure.

Ongoing construction has already slowed traffic through the work zone. Remember to reduce speeds through the area during the ongoing roadwork.
