Learn How To Grow Winter Vegetables During Free Zoom Class

Riverside County is hosting the training in partnership with the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Long, hot summer days have many of us longing for cooler temperatures and seasonal vegetables from the garden. Get a head start on growing in the fall and winter by hearing directly from Master Gardeners on the best time to plant cool-season vegetables, and what grows well during cooler temperatures.

Attend this virtual how-to garden talk by the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program that's hosted by the Riverside County Department of Waste Resources.

The Riverside County Department of Waste Resources provides this free class to reduce waste and help preserve valuable space in the county sanitary landfill, and reduce the amount of chemical waste residents bring to the Household Hazardous Waste collection program for processing and disposal.
