TEMECULA, CA — A Linfield Christian School employee was fired from her position after a video posted to social media showed the woman and her husband making racist comments targeting Asian Americans over the weekend.

The private school in Temecula confirmed that Sandra Miller's employment was terminated after campus officials learned of the incident and questioned her about the TikTok video.

In the now-deleted video — which was picked up by another source and shared over Twitter — Miller can be heard saying, "I love that we are not in their country. I love that we are not communism. I love that very much." Later she says to the person filming, "America is a free country. Go back to China."

For its part, Linfield Christian said Sandra Miller failed to live up to the school's mission.

"The statements made by Ms. Miller do not reflect the beliefs of Linfield, are inconsistent with Linfield's mission statement, and fail to mee the behavior Linfield expects employees to model for its students," the school posted.

According to the school's website, the vision and Mission of Linfield Christian School is to "develop and inspire students, to know Jesus Christ as Lord, to love others as themselves, to grow in knowledge and skill — in order that they may serve the Lord and the world through their character and leadership."
