Every year I cook the Feast of the Seven Fishes for Christmas Eve! I always switch up the menu by trying new things and this year was no different. I made 7 different fish dishes (and different from the previous year) and each one was flavorful and delicious however, the standout dish this year was NOT the fish it was this amazing Basil Jelly that we sell at Artisan's Palate. I served the jelly as part of my cheese platter and everyone raved! They also raved about the savory cheesecakes. That's right, think cheese/crackers, appetizer NOT coffee/dessert. I served one cheesecake that tasted like pesto and the other that tasted like spinach dip...soooo good! We sold over 70 savory cheesecakes in 3 days before Christmas so if you're entertaining and you want something really special, come and visit out shop!
