Man Drowns In Temecula Pool: Fire Dept.

Fire officials say the man died at the scene.

TEMECULA, CA – A person drowned over the weekend at a residential pool in Temecula, the fire department reports. The victim, whose age and name were not immediately released, was identified only as an adult male.

Paramedics were called to the 33200 block of Fox Road around 7:49 p.m. Sunday, according to Jody Hagemann of the Riverside County Fire Department. That's in the area of Temecula Parkway and Butterfield Stage Road.

"The victim, an adult male succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene," Hagemann said.

Additional details surrounding the drowning were not provided, but the Riverside County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death, she said.
