Other facts

I am a proven taxfighter - endorsed by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayer's Association pac and signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge in 1999 to never increase taxes. Â During four terms on the city council, I never voted for a tax increase and will fight to end out of control state spending.

I MEAN BUSINESS - I support business expansion to create "breadwinner" jobs by reducing burdensome regulations and lowering taxes. Â California is driving businesses and jobs away in record numbers. Water reliability and affordability is essential to our local economic growth in Southern California. I will work to bring much needed water supplies to our region.

I lead the fight to stop illegal immigration by opposing benefits and drivers licenses and authored a resolution to enforce immigration laws locally.

FIGHTING CRIME - I championed gang injunctions, 3 Strikes and expanding Megan's, Jessica's law and Chelsea's Law to protect our kids from sexual predators. As a parent, I'm concerned about our childrens' future. As a true Conservative, I will fight to protect our traditional family values.

Active in the community and my church, I support the Boy Scouts, Little League, the Chamber of Commerce and received the Rotary Club's Community Service Award in 1990.

My husband and I started "Cruisin' Grand", the family oriented hotrod car event.
