Missing Southwest RivCo Man Found After Extensive Search Operation
After days, of searching, Richard Young, 75, has been found. He went missing in Winchester Monday.

TEMECULA, CA — A 75-year-old man reported missing in the Winchester area has been found, authorities announced Thursday.
Richard Young was located following a massive search effort, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Young was reported missing on Tuesday, and authorities used bloodhound, deputies, volunteers, and a sheriff's helicopter to search for him.
Authorities did not immediately release information about Young's condition nor where he was found.

According to the Valley News, his daughter posted an update, thanking the community for the support: “He has been found and is safe. We do not have all the details yet. Thank you everyone for your prayers, posts, re-posts and those who were searching. We can not begin to thank you enough," she posted. "Riverside County Sheriff is absolutely amazing. I can not say enough about their efforts and effectiveness. Thank you.”
Young had disappeared after leaving his home on Monday at 4 p.m. in the 33000 block of Sidney Circle, said Sgt. Josh Hephner of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
