Motorcyclist Fatally Injured After Collision With Delivery Truck Near Temecula: CHP

TEMECULA, CA — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon after a collision with a FedEx delivery truck near Temecula, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 1:38 p.m. on Glen Oaks Road, near Bella Vista Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP said the motorcyclist and a FedEx delivery truck impacted, ejecting the rider from the bike and into a nearby ditch.

First responders reached the location minutes later and found the motorcyclist in grave condition.

A helicopter airlift was requested as paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene minutes later.

No other injuries were reported.

CHP partially shut down Glen Oaks Road to conduct a preliminary investigation.
