Motorist Trapped, Killed in Temecula Crash
Fire officials say the person died at the scene of the wreck on Friday.
One person was killed when a car crashed into a ditch in Temecula Friday morning, fire officials report.
Firefighters sent at 6:24 a.m. to Solana Way at Del Rey Avenue found the motorist trapped inside the vehicle, county fire spokeswoman April Newman said.
“The first on scene engine reported a solo-vehicle into a ditch with one person trapped,” she said. “The victim perished at the scene.”

The person has not yet been identified.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
