Murrieta Resident Hits Big At Pechanga Resort Casino Penny Slot Machine In May

Who says you can't win on penny slots? A Murrieta resident won big on the Light & Wonder slot machine, according to a resort spokesperson.

On Friday, May 1, the Murrieta resident saw the lights of an impressive $0.01 slot by Light & Wonder, sat down and began to play, spokesperson Ciara Green said.

"After several minutes and $3.00 max bets, the massive computer-generated character on the screen signaled for three winning symbols to line up across the top of the screen," she said.

This triggered the machine’s major jackpot, a wide area progressive for $347,144.24.

Another Riverside County guest, whose identity was not disclosed, brought a lot of luck with her for the start of the week when she opted to play one of Pechanga Resort Casino’s Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em games on May 4.

"She found her favorite seat, played a few hands, always making certain to take advantage of the $5.00 table games progressive wager," Green said. "Before long, she scored a coveted Royal Straight Flush in the clubs suit."

This brought her total win to $325,385.40.
