New Lexus Dealership Planned In Temecula

TEMECULA, CA — Plans to build a 54,383-square-foot Lexus dealership are moving forward. On Dec. 30, the Temecula Planning Commission gave its unanimous approval to project applicant Rudy De La O on a development plan and conditional use permit for "Temecula Valley Lexus."

Once built, the dealership will be located on 4.73 acres of vacant land at 42081 DLR Drive.

As part of the approvals, the commissioners deemed that the development is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act — a statute that requires state and local agencies to identify significant environmental impacts of a development project and to avoid or mitigate those impacts, where possible.

The proposed dealership will include sales, service, rooftop parking and parts storage.
