New Temecula Street Light On Rancho California Road Up And Running
Temecula City Council has accepted the final notice of completion of the Rancho California Road and Tee Drive traffic signal.
TEMECULA, CA — The newest traffic light in Temecula is now complete at the intersection of Tee Drive and Rancho California Road, at the entrance to Temeku Hills and The Legends Golf Club, according to Tuesday's City Council meeting.
The traffic signal has been in operation during the testing phases in mid-August, and the final touches are now finished and approved, according to a notice from Patrick Thomas, Temecula's Director of Public Works.
The location was selected from a list of priority intersections one year ago to improve the safety of drivers both on Rancho California Road and those entering and exiting from Tee Drive in Temeku Hills onto the main roadway. The crosswalk signals were expected to increase safety for Temecula residents who walk, run, and bike ride along Rancho California Road. Future traffic signal locations will be installed as funds allow, according to the report.
