OMG! The Temecula Greek Food Festival is almost here again...
Post on your calendar, Oct. 17th and 18th for the "Temecula Greek Food Festival"!
For thousands of people here in Temecula and its visitors, this is one of the most exciting events of the year! The Temecula Greek Food Festival! Don’t miss out on the once a year event.
At the entry gate, you will be greeted with the sweetest and most enticing smells. Let your nose lead the way. Your nose will take you to the delicious and famous mouth watering Mousaka and Pastichio. To the Dolmades, Spanakopita and Tiropita, lamb, chicken, souvlaki, gyro and I can go on. Come with a huge appetite for you’re going to want to taste everything. One thing I have to say is that Greek people sure know how to cook. Their Mediterranean Cuisine is exquisite and all of the foods have been prepared only by the best! I think they want to show off...that’s OK with me.
Then you can indulge in some wonderful pastries such as Baklava, Melomakarona, Kourambiedes and lots more. You must also try the famous Loukoumades...they are to die for. (This one is made with a well kept secret recipe and only to be used at this festival.) I can’t tell you how many people come to the festival for the whole event but in particular to buy these Loukoumades. Once you try it, you’ll remember me. They will have their own Loukoumades booth. That’s how popular these are.
