Outstanding Temecula School Volunteers Recognized for Hard Work, Dedication
These volunteers were honored for their work within the Temecula Valley Unified School District.

In honor of the 118th birthday of National PTA, the Temecula Valley Council of Parent Teacher Associations (TVC PTA) recently recognized outstanding volunteers from across the Temecula Valley Unified School District.

From those nominees submitted by participating units, three overall volunteers were awarded special recognition for their outstanding service to the PTA organization and their commitment to children. They are: Nancy Olivas, Margarita Middle School; Camille Wettlaufer, Rancho Elementary; and Darla Underwood, Tony Tobin Elementary.

The National PTA is the oldest and largest volunteer association working exclusively on behalf of all children and youth. For 118 years, the National PTA has promoted the education, health, and safety of children, youth and families. TVC PTA, now in its 25nd year, represents more than 9,000 PTA members in the Temecula district.
