Pair Of Small Earthquakes Shake East Of Temecula Valley

AGUANGA, CA — A magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Tuesday afternoon in Riverside County, once again shaking the Aguanga area. The quake hit at 2:06 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
According to the U.S.G.S., the quake was centered:
- 4.3 mi NE of Aguanga
- 8.7 mi WSW of Anza
- 9.3 mi NNE of Palomar Observatory
- 16.8 mi N of Lake Henshaw
- 28 mi SW of Palm Springs
Just prior to that earthquake, a 2.7 magnitude quake was recorded in the same general area at 1:49 p.m., according to U.S.G.S. data.

Tuesday's quakes follow another 3.2 magnitude temblor that struck the same area on Monday, just about 24 hours earlier at 2:44 p.m. No injuries were reported as a result of any of the quakes.
