Parents to Protest Charter School Teacher Scramble

A local charter school pulled a well loved middle school teacher from her position and put her in a fifth grade classroom, and parents are steamed.

Sharon Constantino, a teacher at Temecula Valley Charter School, is being moved away from her middle school position and into the fifth grade, according to parents.

Constantino was one of several teachers moved around. Parents said they were worried the shifting would disrupt the stability of the learning environment for their children.

The parents circulated a petition and plan to present it to the charter school's governing board today at 5 p.m. at the staff lounge at 35755 Abelia Winchester, CA 92596.
