Opinions were mixed on what should be done after the restaurant closed its doors, though a Temecula Patch poll showed 65 percent of respondents wanted the location to reopen.

Pat & Oscars always works on being more energy efficient, said manager Sheri Castro in an emailed announcement. “We have made substantial strides in our internal efforts to save energy,” she said. “Working with Stellar Solar to host these dinner seminars is just another way we can promote sustainability and renewable energy in Temecula."
Stellar Solar, the company leading the seminar, hopes to encourage more Temecula to use green energy in their homes and businesses. "Besides being a personal favorite of my family, their locations are in prime areas for solar," said Kent Harle, founder of Stellar Solar.
