Explaining the Temecula Valley Atheists' peaceful sign, erected for the Holiday season. Happy Holidays!

“Peace on Earth” display at Temecula Duck Pond

December 18, 2016

Temecula Valley Atheists, a local organization consisting of Atheists,
agnostics, and freethinkers in the Temecula Valley area, has
installed their holiday display for the second time at the City of
Temecula Duck Pond. The Duck Pond has become a popular venue for
groups to erect messages of hope and friendship for the holiday
season. During December, it is home to a beautifully lit tree,
a jumbo menorah, and now this secular message of “Peace on Earth”
from the Temecula Valley Atheists.

Temecula Valley Atheists is a group, started online, of over 500 secular
humanists living in Temecula and the surrounding cities. It provides
a safe atmosphere for nonbelievers and skeptics in our area. Since
beginning, the TVA has met for get-togethers and has done charity
within the group and the community, such as helping members through
hard times, and gathering items and monetary donations for the less
fortunate.

They created this message of hope to stress this shared ideal for all
humans this holiday season.
