TEMECULA, CA — Pechanga is hosting a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the public this week, and no reservation is required.

The vaccination clinic takes place 1-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, at Pechanga's Summit Events Center and is open to everyone 12 and older. Anyone looking to receive their first or second COVID-19 vaccination shot can just walk in, Pechanga officials said.

Recipients who are between 12 and 17, however, should be accompanied by an adult.

Pechanga has been offering onsite vaccination clinics for its employees and their family members for more than six months. Over two months ago, Pechanga’s leadership announced it was rewarding a $100 Visa gift card to every employee who gets vaccinated.

"The casino’s vaccination rate among employees is well above the state’s for fully vaccinated residents," Pechanga reported.

“In coordination with our governmental partners, team members eligible for the vaccine were able to be vaccinated on-site for their convenience,” said Andrew Masiel, Sr., president of the Pechanga Development Corporation Board of Directors. “In addition to on-site opportunities, many of our team members went out on their own and received the vaccine. We wanted to express our sincere gratitude for doing their part and helping keep themselves, their loved ones, fellow team members, and guests safe. As the experts have noted, this is still the most important tool to end the pandemic.”

Employees are providing proof of their completed vaccinations to Pechanga’s Human Resources Department, according to Pechanga officials.
