Pechanga Hosting Large Career Fair This Week, Dozens Of Positions Available

The resort/casino is looking to fill some 56 restaurant and culinary positions.

TEMECULA, CA — Good news for foodies on the hunt for the perfect job in the Temecula Valley. Pechanga wants you!

Pechanga Resort & Casino is hosting a career fair this Wednesday, May 24, looking to fill 56 positions in the restaurant and culinary sector. Management is looking for line cooks, sushi cooks, kitchen supervisors, food servers, cashiers, hosts and hostesses, restaurant bussers and restaurant attendants.

"Applicants interested in working in Pechanga’s popular restaurant and culinary areas should bring a resume and come prepared to interview with any one of 13 restaurant or chef managers on the spot," Pechanga representatives say. "Interviews will be conducted on a first come, first served basis."

Representatives also tell Patch that some of the positions do not require previous experience. Pay starts at minimum wage and up.

"Pechanga Resort & Casino currently employs 4,100 people, many of whom receive medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, free health screenings, full college tuition reimbursement, longevity and merit bonuses, team member celebrations and incentives, accruing paid time off, free meals, on-site parking, ridesharing incentives, on-site fitness center, free personal improvement and career development and more," organizers say.

The career fair will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the resort’s Grand Ballroom.

Not interested in the food industry? The casino will soon be hiring approximately 750 additional employees to staff the massive expansion the resort is undergoing.
