Pechanga and Pala Casino Closures WILL Harm Members Financially
Tens of thousands of dollars per month in per capita losses. Rainy day funds?

With the Pechanga Resort & Casino closed for business, and 4,500 employees laid off, and Pala being closed, laying off nearly 2,000 WHO really gets harmed?
A group of casualties never mentioned is the remaining tribal members who face the horrible threat of LOSS OF PER CAPITA ! Each tribal member gets THOUSANDS as a share in casino profits, which will be zero if they remain closed through April.
Pala, has repeatedly told their members that per capita is paid from 3 months previous, which, would mean per capita is through June. Their Executive Committee must be proud to have this financial protection system.
There is NO "unemployment" for the many tribal members who haven't worked in a decade, if ever.
One thing that is available to them is what was repeatedly hollered to our elders.....
